The Eternally Evident

Description

I wanted to do something like this for ages!!!
This is for :iconmjranum-stock:'s contest :D

Opposed to most other stuff I've done, this is not a normal photomanipulation.
So, what is it, then?
First of all, I did all the cutout and frames and frame backgrounds. When I was finished, I started searching for a good background which I wasn't able to find. What I then chose to do was to render the background myself which was -excuse me- a pain in the ass because I hadn't used Blender for many months. Surplus I even had to use techniques I had never tried out which made it all the more difficult for me. Anyway, instead of just taking a background I like, I had to define for myself which background I would like to have (if I'm already making it myself, it should be perfect). I ended up with the idea of an empty room with a chess floor and grungy walls and hang the pictures to the walls. But doing it in 3d already, hanging them from the ceiling seemed nicer (perspective and all). Then the final idea to have the room upside down came up :D

The basic concept of parts of women in frames was inspired by Magritte's The Eternally Obvious, hence the title. I love his works!
Using parts of different women/photos is a critique against those who expect their (potential) partners to have this hair colour, that bum/belly/..., those boobs,... as if you could model someone's body. The character should be more important anyway ;) I wouldn't want the sexiest person in the world as a partner if s/he was stupid as hell or a total bugger.

Sooooo, a big thank you goes to the following people:
:iconmjranum-stock: for the head [link] , the chest [link] , the bum [link] and the legs [link]
:iconlockstock: for the arms [link] (top right and bottom left one)
:iconchop-stock: for the frame [link]
:iconfreaky665-stock: for the picture background (similar to the bottom right one here [link])
:iconro-stock: for the textures [link] and [link]
:iconbulbus: for being patient and helping me a lot ;)

big  for you :blowkiss:

I hope you like it! :D
Cheers,
Q-Rai
